Today has been a truly historic day at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. 🚀
We had the immense pleasure of hosting ESA astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski and honoring him with a Doctor Honoris Causa degree. It was an inspiring reminder of what vision and persistence can achieve.

To those we couldn't offer a spot to this time: I want to speak to you from the heart. This year, we received an extraordinary number of outstanding applications. With a very heavy heart, we had to decline some truly exceptional candidates simply due to limited capacity.
There are no “losers” or “weaker” applicants in this group; you are all excellent. Please don't let this discourage you. 

As a mother myself, I find it especially difficult when we cannot offer a place to every talented and hardworking student who deserves one. It is, without a doubt, one of the hardest parts of this role.

Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski often says: "Marzenia są po to, by je realizować" (Dreams are there to be realized). So, be like Sławosz. Don't let this one "no" stop you.
